What a pleasant find!! My husband and I noticed this store while walking in downtown Kirkland yesterday. And to my surprise they were open on a Sunday afternoon. I'm so glad we found this place. The store design and layout is so inviting and peaceful, and the store owners were super friendly and helpful. They took the time to calmly explain to us about all the different organic products they have. You need to check out this store! You won't regret it, especially if you're into Indian spices and organic healthy living. I ended up buying Toor Dhal, White Almonds, and Jaggery Powder. Can't wait to try them. Thanks again!:D

Just WOW!!
Love the concept of the store with Zero waste.
Totally went awe by the look of the store .
Very neatly organized. Quality of the items were top notch. Definitely recommended.
Healthy options of food ingredients are available. Go.. give it a try
Note:
As it is a zero wastage store, try bringing your own containers.
You can also purchase cute containers from the store.(different sizes available)

As soon I entered the store, I was impressed with the ambiance, which reminded me of a traditional Indian home with a courtyard. All the items were neatly organized. I also liked the concept of zero waste. They use Paper bags for the items. We can buy various-sized glass containers from them or take our containers.
The store had a wide variety of Indian pantry ingredients, exotic teas, cold-pressed oils, spice powders, grains, etc.
Enjoyed sampling some of their flavorful teas and snacks. bakarwadi and red banana chips are my favorites. Snacks are not pre-packed. We can just buy how much ever we want.
They also have some interesting unique gift options.
Traditionally Modern Food
An amazing store, with a variety of organic products and based on ZERO Waste. The vibes here make me feel at home.
They have some unique stuff available here, various EXOTIC teas, spices and earthen ware. All the products are sustainably grown and homemade.
They have healthy organic SUPERFOODS and drinks. Some really tasty snacks(Bhakarwadi and Dried Apricot are my favorite). There are toys and handmade dolls for kids.
Overall they have all the good stuff with a great environment and very supportive staff.

The variety of organically sourced materials and their concept of zero waste is mind blowing. Variety of products are very good. I can't find some of them in PCC or Whole Foods. So glad that they opened the store closer to downtown Kirkland.
We cooked a few dishes with their freshly sourced ingredients, they tasted amazing. This is a new gem I found in Kirkland that uses the 4 R's Reduce Reuse Repurpose Recycle.

I ran into Adrish today by accident. It is located next to the SolarYou Yoga Studio (hi Irina).
Phani (the owner w/ his wife), kindly showed me all the products and explained the zero waste concept.
[ It always bugged me to see single use containers in supermarkets. You go to buy some food and you come back home with a lot of recyclable plastic containers. Of course, why spend energy to recycle if we re-educate ourselves to bring our own containers; don't worry though if you forgot to bring containers, you can buy some. That's one of the goals of this store. ]
The other nice things about Adrish is that the food is clean (no chemicals), organic and sourced from various parts of India.
This store has something for everyone, and if you like the Indian culture, you will love this store and its amazing decoration.
Go, give it a shot.

This is a great local zero waste shop! Lots of organic, gluten free, and vegan options. The owners were warm and welcoming, and we left with new foods and recipes to experiment with. It’s a hidden gem!

Adrish is not your typical Indian grocery store. It is an experience to be had. Located in the heart of Kirkland, its zero waste concept finally brings to town a business that walks the talk on social responsibility. The product offering seems to be of high quality. The ambience definitely makes you want to go back there again! While the 'Bring Your Own Container' concept could take a little getting used to, the store makes it easy by providing fallback options with reusable bags and containers that you can buy right there. It can easily grow on you and become a lifestyle!

Its an experience. What unique about this store is the concept of zero waste and grab what you need. Several times i was of opinion not to buy a 2lb bag and wish they sold sample worth stuff and this store allows that. I hate wasting food and this is a great fit for that.
More over, the store has a wide variety of millets, noodles, whole grains and spices along with wood pressed oils. Tried few and will go back to try more.

A nice store with a wide variety of grains and noodles. We tried millet noodles and I am glad my family liked it. Nuts and dried fruits were very fresh. Kichdi mix had a good mix of grains and rice and making it easy to cook.
